### Introduction The "4 Pack Shower Curtain Clips, Shower Windproof Splash Guard - Self Adhesive Shower Curtain Weight Clip (Clear)" is an innovative product designed to tackle the common problem of water splashing out of the shower or bathtub while maintaining a sleek aesthetic. These clips are designed to be self-adhesive, providing a secure grip on both the shower curtain and the tub or wall surface. Particularly beneficial for those looking to keep their bathrooms dry and tidy, these clips offer a simple yet effective solution. ### Advantages 1. **Strong Adhesion**: The clips are highly effective in staying attached, as they utilize strong adhesive backing. 2. **Ease of Installation**: Users find them straightforward to install with no need for additional tools or instructions. 3. **Prevents Water Leakage**: These clips effectively stop water from leaking out, reducing the chance of water stains or damage. 4. **Unobtrusive Design**: They blend seamlessly with most bathroom décor due to their clear, minimalistic appearance. 5. **Durability**: Designed to last, these clips continue to perform well over time, even in humid conditions. 6. **Space Saving**: Unlike suction cups, these clips do not protrude, keeping the shower area uncluttered. 7. **Secure Grip on Curtain**: They successfully hold the curtain in place without damaging or cutting it. 8. **Versatile Usage**: Suitable for different shower designs and can be used with liners of varying thicknesses. 9. **Cost-effective**: The pack's pricing is considered affordable, providing good value for multiple clips. 10. **No Damage to Surfaces**: The adhesive does not stain or damage tiles when removed. ### Disadvantages 1. **Rust Issue**: Some users noted the possibility of rust developing on the spring mechanism over time. 2. **Adhesive Challenges**: Initially challenging to peel off the adhesive cover without difficulty. 3. **Suitability with Thin Curtains**: Not recommended for very flimsy shower curtains as they can tear. 4. **Placement Accuracy**: Once placed, they cannot be repositioned easily without losing adhesive strength. 5. **Lack of Instructions**: No setup guide included, potentially causing confusion for first-time users. 6. **Breaking Potential**: Cases of clips breaking after some use have been reported. 7. **Thick Curtain Requirement**: Better suited for thicker curtains which might necessitate a more expensive purchase. 8. **Accumulated Residue**: Requires occasional cleaning to maintain a clean look. 9. **Temporary Fix**: For some, clips may eventually fall off, requiring reattachment. 10. **Spring Visibility**: Although not immediately visible, rust on springs can be unsightly if noticed. ### Conclusion The "4 Pack Shower Curtain Clips" provide an economical and convenient solution to prevent shower water from escaping. While excelling in adhesion and design, they also require careful consideration in terms of curtain compatibility and potential rust on metal parts. For individuals seeking a discrete and practical shower accessory, these clips are an excellent choice. Overall satisfaction can vary with curtain type and water conditions, but their advantages largely outweigh the disadvantages. ### FAQ 1. **Do these clips work on all types of shower curtains?** - They work best with medium to thick curtains; thin ones might tear. 2. **Can these clips be reused after initial use?** - While not designed for reuse due to the strong adhesive, carefully placed clips can be reused if managed carefully. 3. **How are these clips installed?** - Clean the area, peel off the adhesive backing slowly, and press firmly for a secure fit. 4. **Is there a weight limit that these clips can hold?** - They can support most standard shower liners and curtains without issue. 5. **Do the clips leave any marks when removed?** - No, they do not leave stains or marks on surfaces when removed properly. 6. **How do I prevent the spring mechanism from rusting?** - Regular cleaning and keeping them dry can help minimize rust development. 7. **Are there any included instructions for setup?** - No printed instructions, but following general self-adhesive product setup is advisable. 8. **What if I place them incorrectly? Can I reposition them?** - It's challenging to reposition them once placed due to strong adhesion. 9. **Will these clips withstand humid bathroom environments?** - Yes, they are designed to function well even in high humidity. 10. **Where should I ideally place these clips in my shower?** - Place strategically where the curtain needs secure holding, typically at both ends for full coverage.

Title: Works well
Content: Bought this a couple months ago and waited until now to write a review. It works really well and still sticks to tub very well. Only thing I would definitely suggest is to make sure you have a thicker stronger shower curtain because the clip does have teeth and it will tear any cheap thin shower curtains. But once you have a thicker stronger shower curtain it’ll work flawlessly

Title: Great clips
Content: The clips attach easily, stay put, and work as intended. I wish I had paid a little more attention when first placing… I am a little OCD and when I placed them they were a bit crooked… they adhere immediately and there is no fixing it, so I’m stuck trying to ignore that fact.

Title: Perfect (changing it to “almost perfect” with update)
Content: Edit: 4/2022 updated review 11 months later. Reluctantly removed a star because today when we visited my daughter I noticed both clips had some rust on the spring/clamp mechanism. Function is still excellent. Daughter has no idea when rust first appeared. While kind of unsightly, one really can’t see it as the shower curtain gets pushed open towards the wall that has clips. The adhesive pad keeps the rust from transferring onto tile, so that’s good. And for the price, one really can't assume it would be rust-proof. Should I have kept 5 stars? Maybe. Would I buy it again? Yes. Original 5-star review 5/2021: Purchased for daughter (new condo) Couldn't for the life of us get the backing off., lol. There is a YouTube link included in the package that we visited that gave us a perfect technique how to use a knife laid flat against the backing, and sliding this knife along the backing, piercing it at the very edge. That gave us something to grasp and it peeled off easily. We used isopropyl alcohol to clean off two tub tiles and once dry, applied two clips. (Saved the two other clips just in case the others fail.) She won’t be unclipping the shower liner except to occasionally clean or replace the liner, so I expect the clips to last. I’ll update if disappointed. The clear liner is what we clipped (not the curtain) and it held securely; it’s of normal gauge thickness: not flimsy vinyl nor unusually thick. Had we experienced difficulty with the clip grasping the vinyl as a few other reviewers had experienced, our plan was to neatly add some package tape to the underside of the clipped spot to beef it up.

Title: SO much better than suction cups!
Content: OMG! SO much better than those stupid suction cups on the shower liner! I was worried it wasn’t going to work as well. But it’s great and doesn’t let water leak out. And they are so much easier to use! I have a plastic shower surround and it’s not very pretty, so I was also worried it would only make that worse. It didn’t. I don’t notice them when I’m in the shower because they are being used at the time. And when I’m not in the shower, they are hidden behind the closed curtain. They were easy to install. I wiped down the area with rubbing alcohol first, to make sure it was clean and dry. I also got in the shower and placed the liner in the approximate position I would need it to be, so I could determine where to place the clips. I put two on each side, for top and bottom. The paper cover on the sticky side is tricky to pull off if you don’t go slow and make certain you don’t tear it, because the glue is very strong. But I got it off and placed the clips and held them in place while pushing for about 30 seconds, just to be sure the glue was fully adhered. There are no directions in the packaging, so I just treated it like a 3M hook. I would suggest they put brief instructions in the box, for folks who have never used other types of these products. The clips are strong enough to grab the liner without cutting into it. I haven’t had them up for very long, so I don’t know how well the spring will remain rust-free. I have slightly acidic well water, so we will see. I will be cleaning them with a toothbrush to remove any residue around the spring. Frankly, I’m wondering why I haven’t seen more of these things being used over the years. They really are much nicer to use and I’m very glad I bought them!

Title: A MUST HAVE for the shower!!! 💧💦🛁🚿
Content: These little clips saved me and my landlord from coming to blows! JOKING! Whenever someone in my house took a shower, water would drip downstairs into my landlord's house. Once I started using these clips, no more water drips!! The concept is so simple. Because of that it's PERFECT! The price is great. They give 4 clips in the package. Now I'm sure it's for top and bottom of the shower liner on both ends, but since water gets on the floor from only one end of my tub, I have 2 extra, just in case one falls off. The cool thing is though, I don't see these clips falling off any time soon. As long as you put them on right, they stick well enough that you won't have to worry about it at all. I love these things! I would recommend them to ANYONE THAT HAS A SHOWER WITH A LINER! Anyone and everyone!

Title: They do the job
Content: These are just what I wanted. They hold the shower curtain in place while you are showering and you don't have to redo them each time. I found 3 on each curtain works best for me.

Content: Works great! But if you have a flimsy plastic curtain it might make holes or rip it. (UPDATE)- one of them broke and I’m extremely disappointed.

Title: Great Adhesion
Content: I originally purchased another brand of shower clips, which were not very good. These clips are the ones I should have purchased in the first place! They look unobtrusive against my white tiles and the adhesion is excellent.

Content: The clip is easy to stick on the wall and perfectly kept the curtain off from floating into the bathtub!!
