You can not slide it to one end or the other of the tub because the tub curves and this piece is long and flat the suction cups won’t stick to the tub unless in the very middle of the tub. Doesn’t bother me much I make it work. My daughter is 3 and LOVES playing with water pouring it, throwing it, splashing etc. this thing does great holding it in and off my floor. She can dump water right on this “shelf” and the water will make its way back in the tub and never on the floor. A bit expensive for what it is but long run it’s worth it. No more drying up the floor after a bath flood lol. she uses it a lot to play with her toys. This gives her more room to play then the tiny tub ledge so we are happy with our purchase. It’s pretty solid plastic I see it lasting a while. The suction cups are very good too. It takes a bit of force to unstick them once in place. Kinda wish I would’ve ordered the white though. The blue is a bit of an eyesore if you plan on leaving it on.

Content: This *helps* keep water in the tub, but doesn't solve the problem altogether. I've got two determined little splashers and I still end up with water on the floor. Also, they tend to think of it not as a play surface but as a toddler bench to sit on. Twice now, my 2 year old has tried to lean back while sitting on it and the suction cups popped loose. He'd have failed straight backwards if I hadn't been there to catch him. It might be my old tub, or maybe it's just not meant to stand up to toddler weight, but the suction cups don't stick as firmly as I'd like. Also, it takes up a fair amount of space in the bathroom. Other people in the house need to use the shower/tub and they have to crawl over this to get in. Either that or you take it out after bathing the littles and put it.... Where?

Content: The media could not be loaded. The first one I ordered never made it to me. I ordered a replacement that arrived quickly. So that was nice. No assembly of suction cups, they come preinstalled. It’s bigger than I thought, as in if you leave it on all the times it’s hard to find a spot you can climb in and out of the tub. It only sits flush with the middle of the tub. You can not slide it to one end or the other of the tub because the tub curves and this piece is long and flat the suction cups won’t stick to the tub unless in the very middle of the tub. I tried moving it to one side to shower, it eventually rocks till it falls since it’s so wide it won’t sit on for too long without the suction attached to the tub. Doesn’t bother me much I make it work. My daughter is 3 and LOVES playing with water pouring it, throwing it, splashing etc. this thing does great holding it in and off my floor. She can dump water right on this “shelf” and the water will make its way back in the tub and never on the floor. A bit expensive for what it is but long run it’s worth it.
