Every joint, with the exception of the crossbar, has pegs and holes that serve to line things up while screwing it together. Simple, but elegant, way to help one person assemble it with no problem.

Content: This little stool is the very coolest. It’s a nice size. It’s beautiful to look at and it’s easy to assemble. OK my husband assembled them. I have two of them, but he said it was easy to assemble. Great value for the money, good quality sturdy stool. Easy to move around, nice & light. Now we have 3 of them! An excellent addition to our wood furniture collection.

Content: I like the color of this stool. The stool is well made and the hardware is good quality. The instructions are easy to understand. I liked that some of the parts have embedded dowels but regret that these dowels are used only to help guide and keep the parts in place during assembly. It is too bad that the holes are too loose to use wood blue to fasten the guide dowel end to the other parts. So, everything is held together with screws. I will buy another of these but would have loved to see the entire assembly designed using dowels and wood glue. I intend to also buy this company's shoe rack because of the good quality of this product.
