Content: This is so much better than trying to scoop up ashes into a plastic bag. The top came warped, but its flimsy enough to bend back. It functions as expected, and that deserves 5 stars. It is smaller than other ashcans, so has a smaller footprint, a big plus. I have only used for cold ashes.

Content: First order was lost in shipping. Amazon corrected the problem. Item is seemingly well built. Nice painted finish. It came with a small ash shovel, brush and a decent pair of gloves. Now, the included items are fifty cents at any flea market but they are functional and a nice addition. Read the description closely. It is pretty small. Probably not big enough for a fireplace, but will work for my small wood stove. For the price, I am certainly pleased.

Content: After 18 years it was time to replace our old ash bucket. This one seems to be way better than the original. The handle is way thincker than the wire handle in our old one, it comes with a really nice brush too.
