Content: So right before Christmas an add for a similar product came across my socials. Looked intriguing so I did some research. Found this product had better reviews and was less expensive. Decided to give it a try as my skin was super dry and my back itched all the time. All I can say is OH MY! This is wonderful. Yes it’s long. Don’t let that deter you. You need the length. First try I folded I half and fold in half again. Got it nice and wet, put some soap. The towel makes a great lather. After washing arms legs, buttocks, I used it on my feet and between my toes . Then I rinsed a little and unfolded to use on my back. And the back of my neck. It is the perfect length. It rinses out easily and let me tell you, when your shower is over your skin feels SO SOFT. I couldn’t believe how much old dry skin was gone. One note: it holds lather well so you don’t need to keep reapplying body wash or soap to the towel. I hang it to dry in the shower and it’s ready to use again. The instructions say now to machine wash. I’m guessing so the exfoliating properties don’t diminish. Its longevity is listed as 3-6 months and as smooth as my skin is now, I’d say it’s worth the money. I’m also thrilled the dry skin on my back must be gone because my back doesn’t itch non stop.

Content: After seeing another brand of “Japanese” exfoliating towel on a FB ad, I started looking into these. That other one from fancy FB ad, was in fact made in China! Thats a big NO. Being we have been in Japan a few times, and worked with Japanese manufacturers for 30 years in our careers, we know of their focus on cleanliness, skin care, bathing rituals, and quality. Found these and confirmed they are the real thing, made in Japan. My wife and I are quite pleased with the ability to lather, gently exfoliate, easy to reach all areas, and rinse clean. Sized generously for good coverage and back cleansing. Skin feels better, and well cleaned. Great product!

Content: This Japanese washcloth is similar to the wash cloths they give out at onsens (hot spring spa) in Japan which are longer and narrower than most hand towels you're probably used to if you're in the US. I wasn't expecting this but love it! Pro: The length allows for easy access to the tricky parts on your back. Con: still feels a little unnecessarily long. The material is extremely durable, I'd be shocked if it ever tore on you. It creates a great soapy lather. The feel of it is rough like the tougher side of a kitchen sponge but that's by design. You want it to help exfoliate, right? Anyway, once there's a lather and you start cleaning your skin with it, it feels great! After your shower, when you've toweled off, you'll also feel the difference on your skin!

Content: I like it. Though I couldn't wash my back properly with it because my shower is quite small and it's a bit difficult to extend my arms properly to do so, it worked quite well. However, I didn't feel any cleaner than when I use my bath sponge scrunchy ball thingy. It did feel like it was better at exfoliating though, and it does feel nice when using it. It also suds up really well, even with the traditional bar soap that I use instead of gel. I'll continue using it to see if it grows on me more than it has after the first try.
