Title: Hmm
Content: I am not sure this is great for the Mr heater Buddy. From what I could tell you could only lose it on low to get a decent effect from the fan and I don't have a wood stove to try it on so I can't say how well it performs on that either. I was very excited to get this particular item for the winter but it's been almost a year and it's hardly gotten any use due to the reasons listed.

Title: It fits and is secure on a Mr Heater Propane Buddy heater. But leave the heater on Low
Content: It did install nice and secure on a Mr Heater Buddy propane heater. The fan does work and pulls the cold air from behind the heater, and the hot updraft air from the burner, and blows it forwards. Usually the Buddy heater had hot air above it, with just radiant warmth in front. Now you get both, radiant heat from the glow and the warm air directed towards you. The fan came with a surface thermostat that I placed on the fan's mounting plate. If I turned up the heater above low, it showed the flame was too hot, rising into the red area. There's a warning not to go over 350C or the fan could be damaged. Low was enough for me at this time. If I have to get more heat out of it, I may try running it hotter, in the red area. The propane heater is different than a wood stove. The wood stove would have a large surface area with hot air rising all around the fan, causing the fan's electronics/ motor to have hot air flowing through it. But the propane heater had no heat in the back of the fan when it was running. Most of the air was cooler from behind the heater. It may be possible to run it into the red zone on a Buddy heater, but if it fails, this would be on the user as it's beyond the manufacturers allowed temps.

Title: This is for a wood stove and works off of transferring heat.
Content: Sadly I own 2 pellet stoves and when the new one came in it doesn't get very hot on the outside so this will not work. It looks cool though. It does work on the older smaller stove that is getting moved to the basement. That one needs to have a new motor added because it blows through pellets 4x faster than it should and It gets super hot! Great for heating the how's and we have used it to boil water before so this works ok on that.

Title: Love It, Very Cool!
Content: Always wanted one of these self-powered wood stove top fans. Nothing bad to say about this item as it does what it made to do! The fan does help move heat around the room and is very quiet. Treat this thing like it was made of glass cause it's fragile and because there is no fan shroud, the blades can be bent very easily and may cause vibrations when rotating. I don't have a Mr. Heat so I can't say how well it does on those propane space heaters but if it spins I'm sure it will help. Because of the peltier device that is sandwiched between the heatsinks and how those work, it makes its own power and spins the motor. No batteries or power cord to fuss with, just set it on top of the wood stove and enjoy as it moves heat across the room!
