Content: I purchased 2 remote, gas, ventless fireplaces and they both came ontime & in great condition. I also purchased 2 blower units to install. After I put these together & added the blower, I had an issue with 1 blower with a incorrectly installed wire on the blower directly from the factory. I contacted them through Amazon and the manufacturer, Factory Buys Direct customer service replied instantly and shipped a new blower unit immediately. On the 2nd unit I had an issue with the remote programable receiver on the heater wouldn't allow any pairing. Again, I contacted the manufacturer and the sent a new receiver immediately. Both units work fantastic. Put out lost of heat, look great, low fan noise. We couldn't be happier with the brand purchased thru Amazon. The customer service was absolutely fantastic!!! Highly recommend!!

Content: This fireplace does all it was advertised to do. The remote works great and acts as thermostat, turns on and off and stays in a decent range of the set temperature on the remote. I seriously thought I would need a fan, but the heat disbursement is amazing and it heats the whole [1000sf] house. The unit is very attractive, and the mantle is gorgeous. Worth the price. The gas hookup is confusing because they give you a 90° fitting to attach the gas to the unit that reduces the 1/2" diameter to a 3/8" flared male, and says in the instructions that you have to supply an adapter to make the 1/2" service line attachment. My propane company sent a plumber over to hook it up and he didn't use their 90° fitting. ..?

Content: The company final sent out a new insert we received Jan 2025. The new one was installed Jan 8 2025 and it worked for 2.5 days. Then pilot light would go out we would relight it. Then the unit would burn for 5-10 minutes and shut off. I have been dealing with the company through emails through amazon. I contacted them again through email and they told me that I couldn’t get refund so I called Amazon. They are doing the a-z review and I emailed company that I contacted them and Amazon would stop them from selling and I would report them to better business. Today Jan 13 2025 they emailed and said they was arranging for pickup of the unit. So I contacted Amazon again and if they have not respond to me in 24 hours I contact the a-z and they will go after them to get my refund. We bought a new unit so we knew it would work and it has been a nightmare. We are having very cold temps here in northeast Tn and paid $800 to have propane put in and don’t have a working fireplace. We bought in Oct 2024 still warm here. Now that it is cold out the fireplace doesn’t work. I have emailed Factory direct from the beginning because the pilot light wouldn’t stay lit. Now it won’t stay on at all. They sent out a new part and we installed it still nothing. They want to do a repair because it is past the 30 days. I will not accept this cause bought brand new over $1100 and plus the $800 to have propane put in our home. Factory direct is ones I am dealing with through email since oct and they don’t want to stand behind what they sell I love this fireplace but hate the color. I ordered slate gray but it is olive green. I have message company to see what they say about the color I gave it a 4 star cause of the color. You can see my wall is gray in pic. Everyone that comes in I ask what color they say green

It doesn’t need it but it helps and make sure you get the correct one which I included in the pics. Very pleased with this product!! Works Great! Looks Great! Content: Mantel was fine, firebox would not work!! Our house was already set up for gas; but we used a professional plumber to hook the heater up. It would not work, no gas to the pilot light. Called Duluth and they blamed our plumber; and said our plumber either broke the plunger or removed it and they were 100% sure of it. After multiple calls, and hours of our plumber’s time, Duluth admitted they had sent the wrong connector, which caused the problem in the first place. They were unwilling to expedite the correct part; and, admitted they didn’t have any of the correct parts. They told me I could go to Lowe’s and buy the correct part. They wouldn’t even reimburse for the part. I told them my plumber now has about 5 hours in this, and this was all their fault. They took no responsibility for any of the excessive cost, even with them admitting they sent the wrong connector (they sent with their product) had caused this problem. The plumber ended up costing us around $500.00 because of their error in sending the wrong part. They would not even send a replacement heating element to fix it. The only way I could return it was to take the mantel apart and ship the whole thing back for possible credit. At this point, I had no faith in their company or trust that I would have ever gotten my money back. Thanks only to my plumber, who managed to buy parts and get this working for me. I thought Duluth Forge was a good company. That is why I picked this unit. Very, very unsatisfied with how they operate; basically cust. Is expected to pay the expenses when they make the mistake!!!

I seriously thought I would need a fan, but the heat disbursement is amazing and it heats the whole [1000sf] house. The unit is very attractive, and the mantle is gorgeous. Worth the price. The gas hookup is confusing because they give you a 90° fitting to attach the gas to the unit that reduces the 1/2" diameter to a 3/8" flared male, and says in the instructions that you have to supply an adapter to make the 1/2" service line attachment. My propane company sent a plumber over to hook it up and he didn't use their 90° fitting. ..?

I contacted them again through email and they told me that I couldn’t get refund so I called Amazon. They are doing the a-z review and I emailed company that I contacted them and Amazon would stop them from selling and I would report them to better business. Today Jan 13 2025 they emailed and said they was arranging for pickup of the unit. So I contacted Amazon again and if they have not respond to me in 24 hours I contact the a-z and they will go after them to get my refund. We bought a new unit so we knew it would work and it has been a nightmare. We are having very cold temps here in northeast Tn and paid $800 to have propane put in and don’t have a working fireplace. We bought in Oct 2024 still warm here. Now that it is cold out the fireplace doesn’t work. I have emailed Factory direct from the beginning because the pilot light wouldn’t stay lit. Now it won’t stay on at all. They sent out a new part and we installed it still nothing. They want to do a repair because it is past the 30 days. I will not accept this cause bought brand new over $1100 and plus the $800 to have propane put in our home. Content: Mantel was fine, firebox would not work!! Our house was already set up for gas; but we used a professional plumber to hook the heater up. It would not work, no gas to the pilot light. Called Duluth and they blamed our plumber; and said our plumber either broke the plunger or removed it and they were 100% sure of it. After multiple calls, and hours of our plumber’s time, Duluth admitted they had sent the wrong connector, which caused the problem in the first place. They were unwilling to expedite the correct part; and, admitted they didn’t have any of the correct parts. They told me I could go to Lowe’s and buy the correct part. They wouldn’t even reimburse for the part. I told them my plumber now has about 5 hours in this, and this was all their fault. They took no responsibility for any of the excessive cost, even with them admitting they sent the wrong connector (they sent with their product) had caused this problem. The plumber ended up costing us around $500.00 because of their error in sending the wrong part. They would not even send a replacement heating element to fix it. The only way I could return it was to take the mantel apart and ship the whole thing back for possible credit. At this point, I had no faith in their company or trust that I would have ever gotten my money back. Thanks only to my plumber, who managed to buy parts and get this working for me. They are doing the a-z review and I emailed company that I contacted them and Amazon would stop them from selling and I would report them to better business. Today Jan 13 2025 they emailed and said they was arranging for pickup of the unit. So I contacted Amazon again and if they have not respond to me in 24 hours I contact the a-z and they will go after them to get my refund. We bought a new unit so we knew it would work and it has been a nightmare. We are having very cold temps here in northeast Tn and paid $800 to have propane put in and don’t have a working fireplace. We bought in Oct 2024 still warm here. Now that it is cold out the fireplace doesn’t work. I have emailed Factory direct from the beginning because the pilot light wouldn’t stay lit. Now it won’t stay on at all. They sent out a new part and we installed it still nothing. They want to do a repair because it is past the 30 days. I will not accept this cause bought brand new over $1100 and plus the $800 to have propane put in our home. Factory direct is ones I am dealing with through email since oct and they don’t want to stand behind what they sell I love this fireplace but hate the color. I ordered slate gray but it is olive green. I have message company to see what they say about the color I gave it a 4 star cause of the color. You can see my wall is gray in pic. Everyone that comes in I ask what color they say green

Content: It’s really nice looking. Although there were some bad reviews I got it and am not disappointed. I got the one with a remote control and advise that and a blower that doesn’t come with it. It doesn’t need it but it helps and make sure you get the correct one which I included in the pics. Very pleased with this product!! Works Great! Looks Great! And hope if you get one it’s as good as this one.

Content: Mantel was fine, firebox would not work!! Our house was already set up for gas; but we used a professional plumber to hook the heater up. It would not work, no gas to the pilot light. Called Duluth and they blamed our plumber; and said our plumber either broke the plunger or removed it and they were 100% sure of it. After multiple calls, and hours of our plumber’s time, Duluth admitted they had sent the wrong connector, which caused the problem in the first place. They were unwilling to expedite the correct part; and, admitted they didn’t have any of the correct parts. They told me I could go to Lowe’s and buy the correct part. They wouldn’t even reimburse for the part. I told them my plumber now has about 5 hours in this, and this was all their fault. They took no responsibility for any of the excessive cost, even with them admitting they sent the wrong connector (they sent with their product) had caused this problem. The plumber ended up costing us around $500.00 because of their error in sending the wrong part. They would not even send a replacement heating element to fix it. The only way I could return it was to take the mantel apart and ship the whole thing back for possible credit. At this point, I had no faith in their company or trust that I would have ever gotten my money back. Thanks only to my plumber, who managed to buy parts and get this working for me. I thought Duluth Forge was a good company. That is why I picked this unit. Very, very unsatisfied with how they operate; basically cust. Is expected to pay the expenses when they make the mistake!!!

Content: I purchased 2 remote, gas, ventless fireplaces and they both came ontime & in great condition. I also purchased 2 blower units to install. After I put these together & added the blower, I had an issue with 1 blower with a incorrectly installed wire on the blower directly from the factory. I contacted them through Amazon and the manufacturer, Factory Buys Direct customer service replied instantly and shipped a new blower unit immediately. On the 2nd unit I had an issue with the remote programable receiver on the heater wouldn't allow any pairing. Again, I contacted the manufacturer and the sent a new receiver immediately. Both units work fantastic. Put out lost of heat, look great, low fan noise. We couldn't be happier with the brand purchased thru Amazon. The customer service was absolutely fantastic!!! Highly recommend!!

Content: This fireplace does all it was advertised to do. The remote works great and acts as thermostat, turns on and off and stays in a decent range of the set temperature on the remote. I seriously thought I would need a fan, but the heat disbursement is amazing and it heats the whole [1000sf] house. The unit is very attractive, and the mantle is gorgeous. Worth the price. The gas hookup is confusing because they give you a 90° fitting to attach the gas to the unit that reduces the 1/2" diameter to a 3/8" flared male, and says in the instructions that you have to supply an adapter to make the 1/2" service line attachment. My propane company sent a plumber over to hook it up and he didn't use their 90° fitting. ..?

Content: The company final sent out a new insert we received Jan 2025. The new one was installed Jan 8 2025 and it worked for 2.5 days. Then pilot light would go out we would relight it. Then the unit would burn for 5-10 minutes and shut off. I have been dealing with the company through emails through amazon.
