6L Humidifiers for Bedroom Large Room Home, Cool and Warm...

Content: Ultrasonic Mist Humidifier 6L I originally bought this humidifier to help my plants during the winter. After I received it, I noticed dry patches on my face and neck presumably from the dry winter air. I moved the humidifier into my bedroom and set it on the warm mist. After one night, I felt better. My skin was less itchy and my throat less scratchy in the morning. After one week I experienced remarkable improvement. Now, I will not sleep without it. This unit works very well maintaining humidity levels in my bedroom. The most important feature to me was the warm mist option. Since I only use the humidifier in the winter, a cold mist humidifier (which I had already) is very uncomfortable. The warm mist feature is exceptional. In addition to that feature, this unit is easy to fill and clean. The tank hold sufficient water so I do not have to fill often. It operates almost silently. Lastly, (but not least) this unit’s sleek design is very attractive in any room in the house. I recently ordered a second one to replace the one I took from my plants.

Moreover, the ability to switch between cold and warm mist options with just the press of a button adds to its versatility, making it suitable for various uses. Overall, I highly recommend the 6-liter humidifier for its efficiency, user-friendly features, and well-thought-out design.

Content: We ordered this unit specifically because it offers both cool and warm steam. I prefer warm steam. The unit was SUPER easy to use, quiet, and worked perfectly. I loved that I could set a desired humidity level and it would work automatically. The tank is an excellent size and will work all night (when using auto level that set to a % that won't use up all the water). We travel with it and the size is fine for road trips. I don't know about packing it for air travel, but the driest places we go we usually travel by car so I don't worry about air travel. Overall an EXCELLENT choice (and I have used many over the years).

Content: Final update: I received the new humidifier on the 22nd (4 days after they emailed me that it was shipped). It is in working order! (Writing this on the 28th) I didn't fill this one all the way to the top level for fear of the same thing happening again. I don't know why that would make a difference but just in case... anyways I have had no issues with this one filling it to the 4L level and honestly that lasts me 2-3 nights anyways. Changing my review to 4 stars. It would be 5 but the "warm" mist still isn't warm on the replacement product either. Customer service was prompt and friendly though so that's huge for me. Update: I emailed customer service the same night of this review and they got back to me the next day with a short and sweet email apologizing and said they would replace it right away. I'll update again once I receive the new product and review it! Changing to 2 stars simply for customer service prompt response. TL;DR If this continued to work the way it did the 1 and only night I was able to use it, I'd give it 4 stars. Pending changing the review based on if customer support can replace this very faulty machine. Went back to ol reliable tonight (Honeywell) in the mean time. Went from highly impressed to highly disappointed. Received this yesterday afternoon. The machine ran for about 10 hours in total. I sat at the kitchen table and read through this manual thoroughly. Made sure I followed every step correctly. It's honestly pretty fool proof. My initial thoughts once the machine was powered on: 1. Wow the mist is POWERFUL. I'm talking a foot high plume on level 1. Level 2/3 wasn't much of a difference but definitely even more mist. I ultimately like that the mist is aggressive, especially trying to mitigate a sinus infection right now, but it would be nice to have a bit more control than that. 2. Overall pretty quiet! It was a nice white noise. There's a slight water trickle. Doesn't bother me at all since I sleep with a sound machine playing brown noise anyways, but it's not silent. 3. The mist never got hot. Or even warm. Our apartment is set to 72 degrees so not cold, not hot. There's no reason why I shouldn't have been able to feel the mist getting warm. It says it takes 15-20 minutes to come to temp but it just stayed cool. I woke up feeling much better today with the humidifier going all night than I did without so the temp thing wouldn't bother me if it wasn't for the fact that it just stopped working. I was pretty stoked to have a hot/cold option though... 4. The night mode for turning the control panel off is nice. 5. I'm willing to accept that this is user incompetency but I don't understand why when I adjust the humidity level, the mist level goes null. When I adjust the mist level to get it back to where it was, the humidity indicator goes away. I don't know if they have any effect on each other but it seems like a mishap in design. 6. So yeah, it broke. Things to note - I kept the humidity level at 50% to be safe, even though the manual says it's safe to operate at less than 80% RH(relative humidity). I made sure there was no condensation accumulating on any furniture. The water tank was filled to 5L, not the maximum of 6L. Anyways, I saw another review from January 11 2024 with a video that made me do a double take because it looked exactly like the video I uploaded with this review. It leaks. There is no seal whatsoever between the base tank and the top tank. I didn't notice it at all yesterday when I ran it for a couple hours to see what it could do, or when I turned it on again before bed (for about 8 hours). I only noticed when I went to turn it on tonight and the small rug I had it on was ENTIRELY soaked with water. Water beads were dripping all around from the seam. One was dripping directly onto the power cord. I'm surprised the machine even turned on knowing water had been dripping on the power cord apparently all day while I was at work. When I turned it on tonight the display panel worked perfectly fine. There was zero steam. No matter what I tried to do. The "trouble shoot" section of the manual gave no helpful answers. "Humidifier leak" solution according to the manual: "the rubber ring inside the filter has impurities. Clean it." Yeah ok. Clearly that is not the issue here. Another review I read said customer service reached out and replaced the machine for them so we will see what happens next and I will update my review accordingly.
