The air quality was moderate—in the yellow–orange range and the dryness was intense. Then a week later I caught the flu or cold, and needed this humidifier to help. I'd say this machine has been working like a power house for the last 2 weeks or so. I've been using diffusers for years and they are too small with little power to be able to change the overall humidity of an entire room. I did notice that it puts a little smell in the air, but it has an aromatherapy pad in the bottom where you can add your own essential oils to help with that. That being said, it's not an aromatherapy machine so the oils don't really smell all that much. It does require you to use either purified or distilled water. I just use a Brita water pitcher and use that to fill up the tank. I have definitely noticed a difference in my sleep quality and not waking up with such a dry nose in the morning. I would buy this again and put it in the main part of the house.

It has raised the main floor humidity from 24% to 32% and that's with me forgetting to refill it for several hours at a time when it runs out of water. It does automatically shut off and send an alert when that happens which is great. It also sends a reminder to complete a cleaning every 100 hours. Just got my first reminder for that but have not completed that process yet. Overall, this seems to be a good value purchase.

It has raised the main floor humidity from 24% to 32% and that's with me forgetting to refill it for several hours at a time when it runs out of water. It does automatically shut off and send an alert when that happens which is great. It also sends a reminder to complete a cleaning every 100 hours. Just got my first reminder for that but have not completed that process yet. Overall, this seems to be a good value purchase.

It does automatically shut off and send an alert when that happens which is great. It also sends a reminder to complete a cleaning every 100 hours. Just got my first reminder for that but have not completed that process yet. Overall, this seems to be a good value purchase.

The unit has a light, which I keep off, easy to do in sleep mode. I was never great about cleaning other humidifiers because they were hard to clean, resulting in mineral buildup. This unit is truly easy to clean, takes less than five minutes. It is also easy to fill, with a convenient handle. I am very satisfied.

Content: I was sick and tired of waking up with bloody noses from the dry air. I saw this on Amazon and read all the great reviews and bought one. I love that you can control it through an app on your phone. It is very easy to assemble and set up. Even with it running on high, it is still pretty quiet. The ambient light is a nice touch but can be shut off at bedtime. Using the app you can set up schedules and customize all the levels. I did notice that it puts a little smell in the air, but it has an aromatherapy pad in the bottom where you can add your own essential oils to help with that. That being said, it's not an aromatherapy machine so the oils don't really smell all that much. It does require you to use either purified or distilled water. I just use a Brita water pitcher and use that to fill up the tank. I have definitely noticed a difference in my sleep quality and not waking up with such a dry nose in the morning. I would buy this again and put it in the main part of the house.

Content: Surprisingly good Android App for this unit and it works very well so far. We've been running it on the main floor to cover for the removal of the humidifier on our central heating. It has raised the main floor humidity from 24% to 32% and that's with me forgetting to refill it for several hours at a time when it runs out of water. It does automatically shut off and send an alert when that happens which is great. It also sends a reminder to complete a cleaning every 100 hours. Just got my first reminder for that but have not completed that process yet. Overall, this seems to be a good value purchase.
