Title: Excellent little humidifier (also, some maintenance tips)
Content: I recently moved from Florida to Wisconsin, I was in no way prepared for how dry the air is here. Every day I was waking up feeling sick and stuffy nosed, and realized I needed a humidifier - and fast. I found this product, the price was right and it was compact. Due to the recent move, I was on a limited budget so I figured this would be a temporary placeholder for my humidifying needs. Shipping was quick, and setup was a breeze. I've had it running nonstop since I got it a month and a half ago, and it's shown no signs of stopping. I also have no plan to replace it, it's a powerful little guy! On the highest setting, I find I have to refill it once in the morning and once at night which isn't bad at all. Let me tell you though, the difference this little humidifier has made in the breathability of the air has been astronomical. No more waking up feeling sick or stuffy nosed. I legitimately could not be happier with my purchase! 10 MONTH UPDATE: It's still going strong. I've still been thoroughly satisfied with my purchase, enough to buy a second one for a friend's house when they needed a humidifier. You can't beat the quality for the price. Maintenance tip: due to my tap water quality, over time it had built up some lime scale and other gunk on the inside and had to be cleaned, obviously not the fault of the unit though. The unit itself was pretty easy to clean with soap and water. (Don't submerge or run the base under water, just use a moist paper towel and maybe some cotton swabs to clean out the inside of the base). If you notice it not wanting to turn on and the white light doing a slow flash when you hit the button, it's likely because the gunk buildup is making the white ring/disk float under the tank stick to the base, which tells the unit the water is empty even if there's water in it. Just give it a good cleaning and you'll be good to go!

They are made for smaller rooms so won't add humidity to large rooms but work great for smaller rooms. They shut off automatically. The reason was soon obvious, the off switch turns off the mist but not the fan, you have to unplug it. Amazon charges me to return anything (hey, Amazon, the whole reason I use you is Because I can't get to the UPS store) so I'll keep it.

One thing to note is that the fan intake is on the bottom so the unit will have to be placed on a solid surface to work properly.

The person at our local nursery told us that a humidifier, we could resolve our issues. Consequently, I decided to give a humidifier a try. The biggest concern with the humidifier was noise, because it's in a room that adjoins the bedroom. What's really nice about dishumidifier, is even on the highest setting you can barely hear it. The second thing we were concerned about was how long it would run before needing to be refilled and associated with that, what would happen if it would run out of water while it was still running. As far as how long it will run on a full tank? On its highest setting, a full tank lasts us a day and still has a little left in the reservoir. Based on the enclosed instructions, it says if it should run out of water, it will automatically shut off. FYI whenever it shuts off manually or automatically, it takes approximately one minute for the fan to shut off. The only negative about this is ease of use specifically in regards to pushing the buttons to either power on or off, or change settings from low medium or high. Unfortunately, the way these buttons work or I should say, sometimes work is not good. Often it takes repeated and repeated pressing of the buttons for anything to happen. That makes using the device very frustrating. Whenever you want to change the humidifier settings as said or power on or off. They just do not register touch well. As designed and sadly, that is the only reason I didn't give it five stars. Overall, the quality of the humidifier is quite good. It works very well and other than the system they use for the buttons, there's nothing negative I can say about it.

The person at our local nursery told us that a humidifier, we could resolve our issues. Consequently, I decided to give a humidifier a try. The biggest concern with the humidifier was noise, because it's in a room that adjoins the bedroom. What's really nice about dishumidifier, is even on the highest setting you can barely hear it. Every day I was waking up feeling sick and stuffy nosed, and realized I needed a humidifier - and fast. I found this product, the price was right and it was compact. Due to the recent move, I was on a limited budget so I figured this would be a temporary placeholder for my humidifying needs. Shipping was quick, and setup was a breeze. I've had it running nonstop since I got it a month and a half ago, and it's shown no signs of stopping. I also have no plan to replace it, it's a powerful little guy! On the highest setting, I find I have to refill it once in the morning and once at night which isn't bad at all. Let me tell you though, the difference this little humidifier has made in the breathability of the air has been astronomical. No more waking up feeling sick or stuffy nosed. I legitimately could not be happier with my purchase! 10 MONTH UPDATE: It's still going strong. I've still been thoroughly satisfied with my purchase, enough to buy a second one for a friend's house when they needed a humidifier. You can't beat the quality for the price. Maintenance tip: due to my tap water quality, over time it had built up some lime scale and other gunk on the inside and had to be cleaned, obviously not the fault of the unit though. The unit itself was pretty easy to clean with soap and water. (Don't submerge or run the base under water, just use a moist paper towel and maybe some cotton swabs to clean out the inside of the base). If you notice it not wanting to turn on and the white light doing a slow flash when you hit the button, it's likely because the gunk buildup is making the white ring/disk float under the tank stick to the base, which tells the unit the water is empty even if there's water in it. Just give it a good cleaning and you'll be good to go!

They are made for smaller rooms so won't add humidity to large rooms but work great for smaller rooms. They shut off automatically. The person at our local nursery told us that a humidifier, we could resolve our issues. Consequently, I decided to give a humidifier a try. The biggest concern with the humidifier was noise, because it's in a room that adjoins the bedroom. What's really nice about dishumidifier, is even on the highest setting you can barely hear it. The second thing we were concerned about was how long it would run before needing to be refilled and associated with that, what would happen if it would run out of water while it was still running. As far as how long it will run on a full tank? On its highest setting, a full tank lasts us a day and still has a little left in the reservoir. Based on the enclosed instructions, it says if it should run out of water, it will automatically shut off. FYI whenever it shuts off manually or automatically, it takes approximately one minute for the fan to shut off. The only negative about this is ease of use specifically in regards to pushing the buttons to either power on or off, or change settings from low medium or high. Unfortunately, the way these buttons work or I should say, sometimes work is not good. Often it takes repeated and repeated pressing of the buttons for anything to happen. That makes using the device very frustrating. Whenever you want to change the humidifier settings as said or power on or off. They just do not register touch well. Every day I was waking up feeling sick and stuffy nosed, and realized I needed a humidifier - and fast. I found this product, the price was right and it was compact. Due to the recent move, I was on a limited budget so I figured this would be a temporary placeholder for my humidifying needs. Shipping was quick, and setup was a breeze. I've had it running nonstop since I got it a month and a half ago, and it's shown no signs of stopping. I also have no plan to replace it, it's a powerful little guy! On the highest setting, I find I have to refill it once in the morning and once at night which isn't bad at all. Let me tell you though, the difference this little humidifier has made in the breathability of the air has been astronomical. No more waking up feeling sick or stuffy nosed. I legitimately could not be happier with my purchase! 10 MONTH UPDATE: It's still going strong. I've still been thoroughly satisfied with my purchase, enough to buy a second one for a friend's house when they needed a humidifier. You can't beat the quality for the price. Maintenance tip: due to my tap water quality, over time it had built up some lime scale and other gunk on the inside and had to be cleaned, obviously not the fault of the unit though. The unit itself was pretty easy to clean with soap and water. (Don't submerge or run the base under water, just use a moist paper towel and maybe some cotton swabs to clean out the inside of the base). If you notice it not wanting to turn on and the white light doing a slow flash when you hit the button, it's likely because the gunk buildup is making the white ring/disk float under the tank stick to the base, which tells the unit the water is empty even if there's water in it. Just give it a good cleaning and you'll be good to go!
